Me In A Nutshell...
Hi, I'm Julie. Back in 2015, I graduated with my Masters in Computer Science from Fitchburg State, and in 2012, I graduated Emerson College with a BA in Visual Media Arts with a concentration in Writing for Television and Film. Having worked out in Los Angeles and seen what a role technology played in the entertainment industry, I became increasingly interested in technology. After some time out west, I decided to head back east and work towards my goal of pursuing a career in cybersecurity.
On a personal note, I've grown up in one of the smallest towns on the East Coast, where when sitting at a traffic light, you know everyone who's sitting there with you. I was raised on a softball field, and was a pitcher for fourteen years. I also play the flute and piccolo because music is one of the greatest things in life. Last, but certainly not least, when I was three years old, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Although I will never let my disease define me, I will never deny that it's made me the person I am today. Life is short, embrace it wholeheartedly, and regret nothing.
