Here's a bit of my experiences...

--While a graduate student at Fitchburg State University, I had the opportunity to learn Java, C++, CUDA, and Python, as well as the math that goes on behind the code.  I focused my studies on application security, and worked with various forms of encryption, including RSA.  I performed extensive studies on topics such as Information Entropy and how it correlates with cryptanalysis and One-Time Pad Encryption.  I also researched DoS, and DDoS attacks, as well as the security threat model of Cloud Computing.  Further, I studied the laws that govern national and international Cloud data storage, focusing primarily on the Americas and the European Union.

--While at Emerson, I had the chance to be a part of the Emerson Channel as well as the EVVY Awards.  The Emerson Channel is a student run channel that's broadcast throughout the Boston area, and has many shows that range in a wide variety.  As part of the channel, I senior produced two shows, "The Lion's Den" and "Breaking News News-Flash…Plus Weather!".  Along with the Emerson Channel, I also had the opportunity to produce with the EVVY Awards, which are the largest student run multi-camera award show in the country.  It's similar to the Academy Awards and recognizes Emerson students' work in television and film.  With the EVVYs, I acted as a staff writer and segment producer.

--Beyond school, I have the experience of freelancing on several projects with FremantleMedia in Los Angeles, as well as interning with Avid Technology in the engineering department, FremantleMedia, and Charter TV3 in part of NECN.  I also have many years of volunteering in my experience.  I've volunteered in the ER of a busy city hospital and volunteered five years as a camp counselor for children with diabetes.   Most recently, I've done work with Avid technologies and RSA, the security division of EMC.
